We believe this name change more fully reflects our revolutionary communist ideology and politics, and the enriched vision of a tribune of the people that has been pioneered by RCP Chairman Bob Avakian.
This May 1st will mark the end of 25 years of the Revolutionary Worker/Obrero Revolucionario!
As part of the new transformations we foresee for our newspaper, we are also aiming for a fresh new graphic look that captures the spirit of revolutionary communism in the 21st century.
And in this spirit we are inviting all readers and graphic artists to take part in a contest to redesign the masthead of the newspaper.
Design elements should include:

More details: Inclusion of the RCP party flag in your design is not required, but we would be interested in seeing fresh new images of the red flag. For some months we will also include "Formerly known as the Revolutionary Worker" in the masthead, but it is not necessary to include that in your design.
Masthead designs should be printable in three color as well as black and red.
Entries should include mastheads for both a newspaper and magazine format.
Artists can submit as many entries as they like.
First prize: A set of five historic full color RW posters
