Carl Dix-Cornel West Dialogue at UC Berkeley

On December 2, thousands of people turned out for an extraordinary dialogue between Carl Dix and Cornel West at UC Berkeley—"In the Age of Obama... Police Terror, Incarceration, No Jobs, Mis-Education: What Future for Our Youth?" The dialogue, along with responses by West and Dix to questions from the audience, can now be viewed online on the C-SPAN website at

Many more people should see this breakthrough event. One student called the Dix-West dialogue "incredibly powerful." A UC administrator said it was "fantastic, the best event ever at UCB.
