April 14, 5:45 pm New York City:

Emergency: 1000s of people in NYC and around the country are right now SHUTTING SHIT DOWN to stop police murder. Traffic has been stopped on the Brooklyn Bridge in both directions with the huge enlargement of the 44 Stolen Lives for all to see.

BUSINESS AS USUAL is being stopped by thousands nationwide  who are expressing that they will not tolerate police killing our youth day after day after day and getting away with it. This is beautiful and needed!

Travis Morales, a major leader of the Stop Mass Incarceration movement and #A14 Shut it Down, and several others, have been arrested in the last hour. It is an OUTRAGE that business as usual in this country means cops getting away with killing our people, day after day, and those who insist that this MUST STOP are being targeted!

FLASH: Noche Diaz and others have been arrested as this is being written. Everyone call and demand no charges, immediate release and that all these courageous resisters better not be harmed!

We need hundreds and thousands of people calling, texting, emailing, tweeting and spreading the word about this.

Call immediately:

Mayor Bill DeBlasio of NYC at 311 in NYC
NY District Attorney 212-335-9000
City Council at 311 in NYC

Everyone, come out now, now is the moment.

Join up NOW in Union Square or if you can get there faster to the 78th precinct in brooklyn (65 6th Avenue off Flatbush, 2 train to Bergen St).

We need to keep shutting shit down and demand that all charges be dropped and the righteous protesters let go right away, donate for bail money etc at stopmassincarceration.net.
