During his presidential campaign, many musicians, actors, and other celebrities spoke out against Donald Trump. And now he and his team are having a hard time getting musicians to perform at his inauguration. A number of celebrities have been asked and refused, and some have made it clear that if they are asked, they will refuse. Here are some of the responses:

The manager for country band Dixie Chicks referred to one of Dixie Chicks’ songs, “Not Ready to Make Nice,” and said, “In my mind that’s the theme song to the Donald Trump presidency. If anyone wants to know what we’re singing, that’s it. It’s what we should all be singing.” He added, “No one is prepared to normalize what is going on in the country right now.”

Rapper/actor Ice T tweeted on December 15: “I just got call to perform at the Inauguration.... I didn’t pick up and Blocked the number.”

When asked whether a large fee would change his mind about performing at the Trump inauguration, singer/songwriter Adam Lambert said, “I don’t think I would take the money on that one.”

Singer Zara Larsson: “I would never do it.”

Actor Eric McCormack, who starred in Will and Grace, said the only way he would perform at the inauguration would be if he had a “lobotomy. My whole brain removed from my head.”

Actress Issa Rae said that she would only perform “If I died and they ‘Weekend at Bernies’ed me, so they just propped me up, that’s literally the only way I would perform. I would just be like [lifeless], and they’ll move my lips for me.”

Actor Michael Rapaport said he thinks anyone who performs at the inauguration “should be ashamed of themselves.”

Actor Alex Wolff: “No fuckking way.”

Alec Baldwin has been the recipient of personal attacks from Trump for his Trump impressions on Saturday Night Live. On December 23, Baldwin tweeted another sarcastic jab: “I wanna perform at Trump’s inauguration. I wanna sing HIGHWAY TO HELL https://youtu.be/l482T0yNkeo
