We invite you to one of the most important films of our time. We are proud to host an August 30th showing of THE TRUMP/PENCE REGIME MUST GO! In The Name of Humanity, We REFUSE To Accept a Fascist America. A Better World IS Possible!—a filmed talk by Bob Avakian. Avakian, the chairman of the Revolutionary Communist Party, tells the hard truth about how we ended up with a fascist regime in this country, where this is headed, and how only we can end this nightmare.

As students, you didn’t create the situation of having a fascist in the White House, but you do have the responsibility to shape the future. Watching this film can help prepare you and others to shape a future in which the fascist Trump/Pence regime has been driven from office.

Come out to Marcus Garvey Park Amphitheater on Thursday, August 30, at 7 pm. (Enter at 5th Avenue & 124th Street. Take #2, 3, 4, 5, or 6 train to 125th Street.)

Below are some of our statements on this film.

Avakian’s speech ... demands that we remain awake. It demands that we take action to stop Trump’s allies, enablers, racists and evangelical apologists from making good on their dystopian ‘Making America Great Again’ slogan.”

Dr. David I. Orenstein,
professor of anthropology, Medgar Evers College

“[W]e are really up against something bad with this Trump/Pence regime.... [T]ry to have this [film] in your church and your organization.... Very educational, and very enlightened.

Pastor Doris Johnson,
Faith Tabernacle, Queens, NY

I am very strong recommending Bob Avakian, my brother, in a prophetic way ... a prophet is the one with the capacity to first identify problems; second ... denounce the problem. But more important, to change that reality of oppression into a liberating experience....”

Rev. Luis Barrios,
Holyrood Church/Iglesia Santa Cruz, NYC

Bob Avakian is a compelling advocate for real social change, and the more his voice and vision are exposed ... the more I’m convinced that others will feel a need to join him on the ramparts.”

Herb Boyd,
author, educator, activist
