The fascist Trump/Pence regime in the United States is a threat to the whole world: They have separated children from their immigrant parents and locked them in cages; they whip up the police and racist militias to kill Black people, Latinos, Native American people, and people fighting against white supremacy; they try to eliminate the right to abortion and even contraceptives and impose extreme patriarchy; they foment barbaric imperialist aggressions in many parts of the world; they deny global warming, they eliminate the few environmental protections that existed, and they have caused countless unnecessary deaths from COVID, among many other crimes.
There is going to be a terrible price, not only in the United States but for all humanity, if this fascist, racist, misogynist, homophobic, and anti-science regime is able to consolidate itself. It would strengthen fascism throughout the world. Fascism is the open dictatorship of the ruling class, a form of government that tries to crush with fire and blood all just struggles.
Now is the time to act as fascism tries to consolidate itself and there is a key opportunity to drive them from power. International protest can encourage and strengthen the struggle in the streets of the United States to run out the fascist regime, which would give a great impetus to just and revolutionary struggles in the world. Long live internationalism!
