On October 31, a panel of judges on the federal appeals court in New York City delivered a slap in the face to the millions of people who have been harassed, disrespected and worse under the NYPD’s racist stop-and-frisk policy, to all the people who don’t want to live in a society where people are criminalized because of the color of their skin and to the tens of thousands of people who have marched and spoken out against stop-and-frisk.
